Waytek expands offering to include Egis’ fuse blocks, time-delay cut-off relays, and bus bars

EGIS_AnnouncementsCHANHASSEN, MN — Waytek, a family-owned specialty distributor of automotive electrical components, is pleased to announce the formation of a new distribution agreement with manufacturer Egis Mobile Electric. Effective immediately, Waytek will begin stocking Egis Mobile Electric’s complete lines of fuse blocks, time-delay cut-off relays, and bus bars.

“Waytek is always working hard to expand our product selection in ways that meet the needs of our customers. Adding Egis Mobile Electric’s products is a meaningful expansion to our line card,” said Kevin Pung, Waytek Chief Customer Officer. “We’re very pleased to welcome Egis products into our family of distributed brands and excited to get them into the hands of our customers.”

Among the products joining Waytek’s selection of automotive electrical components are Egis Mobile Electric’s new screw terminal fuse blocks, TH Series battery management relays, and 8+2 combo fuse blocks. These products, in addition to Egis Mobile Electric’s extensive selection of legacy components, represents the addition of yet another trusted manufacturer to Waytek’s growing inventory.

The addition of Egis Mobile Electric products will add more than 40 components to Waytek’s catalog, specific to emergency, recreational, specialty, municipal and off-road vehicles, as well as marine applications. Egis products provide reliable electrical system switching and protection solutions for applications subject to wide temperature ranges, vibration, and high moisture conditions.

“Egis Mobile Electric consistently strives to deliver maximum value to our target markets,” said Eric Graham, President of Egis. “We are excited to add Waytek, a proven and trusted stocking distributor that significantly augments product availability and provides increased convenience for existing Waytek customers.”
